Can you verify what size bolts I should be using to connect a hitch to my chevy vehicle. It appears that the bolts are too large. Chevy equinox 2014 The bolt size I am questioning is marked 01VK 10.9

The trailer hitch for a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98865 uses M12x1.75" grade 8 hex bolts. If you have misplaced these or simply need new ones, we do offer a complete hardware kit that comes with everything the hitch would have come with when new, the Replacement Hitch Hardware Kit part # RHK.
The only thing I can tell from the photo you attached is that they are grade 8 hex bolts.
