Question:

I purchased this harness for my 2023 Chevy bolt EUV Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C45ZV and these lights- Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 Is it okay if I plan to use these lights daily? Are these lights and harness only meant to be used every once in a while or can they withstand daily use? I’m planning to install these not on a trailer but just use them on my car to make up for the horrible brake light and turn signal design on the Chevy bolt EUV. A lot of people are doing modifications by splicing in to the brake light wires,, but I don’t feel comfortable doing that and it seems like it would be safer to use the trailer harness and then tape these auxiliary lights onto the tailgate up higher so people can see them better when I break and turn.

It would be totally fine to use the Curt Aux LED indicator lights part # C53201 with the trailer wiring kit # C45ZV on a daily basis. If you wanted to use these as a way to add to the taillights of your 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV they wouldn't wear out or not be able to handle daily use.
