The SmartPlug Connector Plug Assembly for RV Power Cords part # SM47FR replaces the connector that installs on the trailer side, into the power inlet. It will also require the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet part # SM57FR or you can purchase both using the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet and Connector part # SM77FR.

Most likely the notch on top of the 7-way plug is damaged which is preventing the Pollak 7-way's lid from being able to attach to it. So easiest solution would be to go with a new Pollak 7-way plug with part #PK12706.
