Question:

I am building a campervan, my underbody grey water tank will have a 1-1/2inch NPT port to drain from. I am looking to hook that up to Valterra Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tank w/ Cap - 1-1/2inch Diameter - Spigot to Male Thread. I am trying to figure out then what kind of 1-1/2inch drain hose would connect to the threads? All of the sewer hoses I am seeing on your site are 3... do you carry any 1.5?

We do have an option for a drain hose to be used with the Valterra Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tank w/ Cap # T1001D.

When installing the Valterra Waste Valve for RV Gray Water Tank w/ Cap # T1001D, you will want to use some Valterra ABS Solvent Cement # A05-0303 to secure it to the pipe. You can then attach the Valterra Gray Water Drain Connector # T01-0094VP which will allow you to use the Valterra Flushing Hose for RV Sewer System # W01-4300.

Is there an option that doesn't size down? Seems silly to slow down drainage by reducing to 3/4. What is the point of putting in the 1 1/2 inch valve in the first place? I'm looking for a 1 1/2 inch "slinky" for grey tank emptying

@John I'm not sure who came up with this being the standard, but using a standard hose like the 15' # W01-4180 or 25' # W01-4300 is what is used for draining the gray tank, which is why the Adapter # T01-0094VP is needed. Since the gray water tank is just dirty water the smaller hose won't be as restrictive as it seems. Yes, a larger diameter hose would allow more water through, but the smaller hose is the standard so there unfortunately aren't any 1-1/2" "slinky" style hoses like what you're wanting.
