This assembly is made to handle serious hauling. The Loadstar ST235/75R15 radial tire carries a Load Range D, 8-ply rating and supports up to 2,860 lbs at 65 psi. Paired with a steel wheel rated at 2,835 lbs, it meets Department of Transportation specs and keeps its composure all the way up to a 99 mph speed rating (Q). When you’re running long distances or carrying big weight, that kind of strength and speed margin matters.
The tread pattern is built for real-world conditions—deep channels push water, slush, and mud away to keep traction steady. Whether it’s rain-slick pavement or uneven ground, the radial construction with double steel belts and full nylon piles gives you grip and stability that lasts through many miles of use.
The modular steel wheel is finished with an e-coat base and black powder coat that fights rust year after year. That coating seals out moisture and road grime, keeping your wheels looking good and staying strong even when exposed to harsh environments.
This is a complete tire-and-wheel assembly that takes the work out of setup. The 15" diameter?× 6" wide wheel uses a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, 1/2"-20 bolts, and a 4.27" pilot diameter—ready to bolt on and get rolling without extra steps.
For the first year, if this tire is damaged in any way, it’s replaced at no charge. That’s backed by a 5-year limited warranty, so you can roll out knowing you’ve got solid coverage behind every trip.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here from etrailer and today I'm at N.A.T.M. And this convention brings a lot of the vendors that we have at etrailer to a convention where we have their booths and their products set up. I had a chance to catch up with quite a few of them. So let's take a look at their products a little bit up close and ask some of the questions to those vendors about their products. I'm here with Dave from Kenda. And Dave, what is Kenda Yeah, Kenda is a global tire company, right We have operations around the world and we're in a lot of different categories from automotive to light truck, lawn and garden, bicycle, specialty tires, power sports.
So Kenda really is involved in several different categories as a tire manufacturer, which is really unique for us in the marketplace. So if you cover that wide of spectrum, obviously you guys have tires nailed down and the same goes for trailer tires. Yeah. Yes sir. You know the nice part about it is collaboration of engineering, right So you know what we learn from an automotive design as it relates and what attributes are more beneficial in a trailer application, a more ST, specific tire, and we can learn from one another and our engineering staff a lot of collaboration and conversations.
Sure. Absolutely So taking a look at some of your trailer tires, what do we have today Well, you know, one of the key ones I think most recently, which is gonna be an etrailer very, very soon is our KR53. It's relatively new design, it's been a little bit on the market and we've got some history in market. Very good performance. And when you think about tires, you know you have a choice as a consumer, right In just about everything.
Good, better, best, right So this really fits in the probably good category, economically price position, but the integrity and the quality of it is still there at sort of a premium level. So the value for money that you get is very strong. You know, we use a lot of the same, you know, compounding core structure, design, profile, those are all things that are really just a little bit slightly de tuned from a premium sector. But I think it gives the consumer and neighbors a little bit of a choice in how they actually use their trailer at the end of the day. That makes sense.
So you get all the same safety qualities and confidence you get with the tire, but it's more catered to someone that doesn't maybe use their trailer every day for work. That's correct. You look at maybe the difference in tread depths, right You're not using it on road on long distances. This might be a little bit better suited for you. So not only do you offer tires, but you also offer an assembly which is wheel and tire combo Dave Yeah, and I think that's a really a kinda advantage to be truthful, right So you know, our technical center in North America is in Canton, Ohio, right Epicenter of tires, right And we design, we engineer, R&D, research and then we produce in our own factories, right Nothing is outsourced, it's all internal. So we control that through the entire process and then we take it one step further into the assembly process, right So we look at it as a Kenda advantage, we can control it all the way through, which provides a lot of inherent advantages. And I think that's 'cause we're thinking of every aspect along the way is how it comes together as a total assembly package on an OE application on a trailer or in the aftermarket sold through etrailer. And that's great too because instead of having to take your wheel and get your tire mounted, you can get it all one go take your lug nuts off, swap it and you're ready to rock. Absolutely. Yep. And cool designs too. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. If you want to add a little bit of, you know, eye candy to your trailer, anytime you have something cool on your trailer, you wanna make the trailer look cool as well. Lots of cool wheel offerings. So you can really customize that trailer, give it the look you want. So taking a look at this, this looks like more of a all trainer mud tire, but this is a trailer tire. Dave Well you're getting smarter and smarter learning a lot tires. Yes, it is a mud tire design and aesthetically pleasing to give that off-road look and feel in a trailer application. Inherited advantages. You know, it's not a drive tire, right So you're still gonna have some traction benefits and also when you're in a off-road situation or outback or where you might be traveling, you know the thickness of the tread, you're still gonna run into sticks. You're still gonna run into stones and boulders and rocks. So the sidewall design helps in protection 'cause obviously you want to get out into that environment but you also want to get back. That's right. So that's the difference. That makes sense. And that's where, yeah, you overlanders out there, I've seen plenty of the trailer setups and predominantly you're gonna see tires like this and you're a hundred percent right, you're gonna be off-roading in your truck and those are the drive tires that'll see the abuse. But this is getting pulled behind it. You wanna protect it all the same. It doesn't look bad either if your trailer tires match your truck tires. Not at all. Again, going back to having choices of wheels, tires say a lot to me because there are some patterns that really just stand out. This is absolutely one of them. Huge thanks to Dave from Kenda taking the time to kinda break down some of the trailer tires and combos of wheels that you offer. Thank you very much. Oh, thank you. I mean the more we can help educate and promote, you know, tire, tire safety and what's good for your neighbors, we're here for you. Ask anytime, we appreciate the opportunity for you to be with us today. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Very good quality wheel and tire assembly to be used as a spare for a trailer. Great fast shipping. Always excellent etrailer customer service and communication.
Purchased this tire/wheel as a spare for my car hauler. Haven’t used it yet, just sitting in back of my truck.
First time ordering from eTrailer, always a little skeptical w new suppliers; however this has been one of the best experiences I've had. They had exactly what I needed, fair value, free shipping, delivered ontime, email communication from the person responsible (Joy T), with personal contact info. in case needed.....It couldn't have been any better! Defninitely recommend.
Great looking, high quality wheel and tire combo. Good price and delivered fast, in two days, for free! The tires have a much more “all terrain” type tread than the standard, cheesy trailer tire. Gave my little utility/overlanding trailer a nice rugged appearance and added more functionality with much more ground clearance. See the before and after pics! Thanks etrailer.com!
Nice wheels for my trailer. Impressed with paint finish. Instant upgrade to my rusty old wheels.
Showed up in excellent condition. No marks or scratches. Free shipping. This wheel and tire combo was listed as Backordered when I purchased it. The very helpful staff at E-trailer reached out to me with an alternate tire and wheel if I wanted to swap. I thought that was real nice of them. I’ll definitely come back when I need more trailer or related parts!
After owning this wheel and tire combo for a year now, my personal experience has been great. I replaced the wheels and tires on my overlanding camper. They look great and I have had no issues at all with the wheels or tires. I even bought a spare, but haven't had to use it....yet. Thats a win in my book.
Awesome wheels and tires. Looks like they will hold up well off road and in snow here in Montana.
I heard the sound of the delivery driver backing into the driveway and went to greet him. He was digging the second wheel out of the van and we ended up having a brief conversation about trailer tires. I had priced tires at a local box store and the markup on them is terrible. I got a much better deal by ordering directly from etrailer.com than I would have gotten at the store.
The wheels arrived neatly boxed in sturdy boxes which I hadn't expected. Loose wheels with labels wrapped around them was more my expectation. The tires and rims look great and do help dress up the old work trailer a little. The best part is that they roll smoothly and track along nice and straight. It's such an improvement over the old tires that were trying to shake the trailer and truck to pieces. The service was very fast and the tires arrived just as they had been predicted.
Full size 5x5 pattern, went with the grey as a spare, tire and rim packaged and shipped with care.
Super fast shipping. Tires and wheels seem to be of excellent quality. Bonus- the wheels I received are made in the USA! I mounted them on a home made trailer I’m restoring. The trailer was built by my grandfather in 1949!
Great purchase
Quick delivery of an exact match!
Looks good, works good
Wow what a tire. Shipped so safely. Even came in a box protecting the tire an wheel. Price was fantastic. This is my only contact with trailer. And all contracts have been the same great.
Great "backup" spare. Thankfully haven't needed to use it yet! Quick shipping. My only complaint is the price dropped about $30 a week after I ordered the tire. It would've cost too much to return and re-order. A "credit" with etrailer would've been nice. Customer service was friendly and I realize some things are out of their control. Will likely order from etrailer.com again.
