Why doesnt RG06-050 cross-reference with Dexter K71-303-00, which has green coating? RG06-050 has no coating bare metal.

The Grease Seal - Double Lip - ID 1.719" / OD 2.565" # RG06-050 is the same as the Dexter Axle grease seal part K71-303-00 as well as part 010-019-00 that we list on the product page.

Dexter will change their part numbers from time to time but the 1.719" ID and 2.565 OD are consistent between all 3 part numbers so you'll be good to go!

Hey Brian, since you are looking for a replacement bearing kit for your Dexter 3,500 lb axle the correct bearing kit would be the part #DX76ER. Then for grease caps that have access plugs to get to the grease fittings you'd want the part #DX69HR.…

Hey Stephen, yes you can use a multipurpose lithium grease in your Dexter axle hubs like the part #DX64TR as that's actually the grease that Dexter recommends in their hubs. We also haev this grease in a 1 lb tub with the part #DX37VC as well.

Hey Doug, yes the EZ Lube Grease Caps with 1.99" OD #DX69HR that you referenced do fit the 3,500 lb axle Lippert hubs that you have. Did you lose your current caps?

The wires on the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Assembly #K23-478-00 are 12 gauge wires. We recommend using 10 Gauge Wire #10-1-1 from the trailer 7-Way connector to the brakes though to help ensure enough power gets to them.
