How To Route Power Wire for Trailer Wiring Harness on Tesla Model S

Question:
I followed this video for my trailer wiring installation. I meant to take pictures of the undersurface, but it was like steel around the battery. Then I saw a beam on the side. Anything wrong with running the wire here?

I do have some installation assistance for you with a trailer wiring harness like the Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C59496 which is what I recommend for a Telsa Model S but we cannot comment on videos from other parties. That said, if you take a look at the video we have attached below on a 2016 model year, you'll see that the power wire gets routed through a vent under the carpet in the rear hatch on the drivers side. It will then come out behind the rear axle and routed to the front under the skid shields. The rest of the process is also outlined in the install video attached below.
