Do we keep the device on the pin box when towing or it needs to be removed and replaced every time the cable will be put away?

As the Cord Keeper # MR92UR only uses a single magnet to hold in place I recommend removing it from the pin box while traveling. This will reduce the chances of it falling off in travel either from road shock or being pushed off by part or the 5th wheel hitch.

Without a key number there isn't a way unfortunately. It would be nice if they put the key number on the latch somewhere but they do not do that. You would need to replace the slam latch with part #BA57FR.
