There are a couple ways to determine the correct seals to be used on your Dexter axles. Without removing your hubs you can check the axle for a tag which includes the serial number for your axle. With this information I can contact Dexter to get the information needed about your axle. If you do not have this tag with the serial number on your axle you will need to pull one of your hubs. On the outside of the seal you may be able to see the information on the seal stamped into the seal itself. Otherwise you will need to measure the dimensions of the seal itself to determine the correct replacement. I have included an image below showing you the measurement points needed for the seal. Here is also the most common seals used on Dexter axles.
1.687 Inch I.D., 2.561 Inch O.D. # 168255TB
1.719 Inch I.D., 2.565 Inch O.D. # 58846
2.125 Inch I.D., 3.376 Inch O.D. # GS-2125DL
2.250 Inch I.D., 3.376 Inch O.D. # GS-2250DL
