Kevin, Thank you for expertly answering my questions. Does the progressive dynamics panel fit the factory cutout for my WFCO? Do the wire colors match my WFCO?

The fact that your converter overcharged your batteries leads me to believe it's replacement time for your converter since it isn't properly functioning. That being said we do offer monitoring systems like the Go Power RV Battery Monitor Kit with 25' Cable # GP44FR.

This monitoring system will allow you to easily see the charge rate and consumption of your batteries and can also let you set shutdown alerts when the voltage is too low or high.

If you want to replace your WF-8735P then I recommend the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4135K. This power center has an integrated Charge Wizard to monitor your RV's batteries and automatically begin multistage charging when needed.

The WF-8735P requires a cutout hole of 10.44" W x 6.13" T x 3.75" D whereas the # PD4135K requires a cutout hole 10-1/4" W x 7" T x 3-13/16" D. This would mean that you would need to trim the cutout hole about an inch taller for the power center to fit in place of your current one. As for the wiring, you'll be running the same wires for your AC appliances into the back of the power center to a circuit breaker just like your current one is setup. The DC side does come with some wires already installed that you can connect your DC appliances to using some butt connectors # DW05714, and then insert a fuse. When I swap out power centers I use some blue painters tape and a marker to separate and label the wires as I'm removing them from the old power center so that when I start wiring them into the new one everything is neat and orderly.
