Can The Quick-Dial Mount For Yakima Cargo Boxes Be Swapped Out With Older Yakima Cargo Boxes?

Would it be possible to swap the mounting system knobs with a quick mount system that is found on other Yakima boxes?

I went ahead and checked and the mounting system found on the Yakima DeepSpace 10 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y65RR can not be swapped with the newer quick mounting system # Y8870097.
