Replacement Hinge for Yakima Space Booster 11 Cargo Box

Question:
I have a yakima space booster the narrow skinny one I think is an 11. wanting new hinges for it. it only opens from the right side. would this part work?

I checked with Yakima and unfortunately they do not offer replacement hinges for their Space Booster line of cargo boxes anymore. This line has been discontinued and you may be able to find used parts on classified ads or personal listings, but they are no longer on the market as replacement parts.
I know this isn't ideal, but the best solution we can provide is a different cargo box entirely. Yakima's new cargo box line is called the SkyBox and they offer a 12 cu ft version, part # Y07334.
We also offer a more economical, but slightly shorter 11 cu ft option from Malone, part # MPG901, that you may want to check out. I attached a couple review videos of these cargo boxes for you to check out.

Just an FYI that the Yakima 8880683 replacement hinge works perfectly for an older Spacebooster cargo box. I just replaced the rear one with this part. I'd post a picture but don't see a way to add one.
