Question:
Hello I have a 1999 jeep wrangler. It is currently set up with a Stowmaster car mount tow bar with quick disconnect. Car side quick disconnect plates have 3/4 inch top connection and 3/4 inch bottom hole. I would like a motor home mount tow bar that is non binding and can be used with the car side quick disconnect plates currently on the jeep. I will be using a ready brake system for my braking. I have a 9inch from the motorhome to make tow bar level. I want a dual receiver because I will be adding a hitch bike rack as well. I wanted to get a ready brute because it comes with ready brake but seemed difficult to make work with roadmaster quick disconnect car side plates. Can you give me some options on tow bars and inform me how each one stows has to be lifted up or can be pushed to the side without lifting and what parts would be needed for each one? Also the wiring set up is an old round 4 pin on jeep and motorhome is round 7 pin, is there an adapter for that? Thank you

To convert your Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 to a set of motorhome mounted Roadmaster tow bars you will need the Crossbar # RM-067. This will allow you to use tow bars like the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain # RM-522 or our best selling Roadmaster Nighthawk # RM-676 tow bars. The Nighthawk comes with the wiring for a 6 Pin Connector # PK12720 you would need to install on our Jeep. Other wise we have the Curt Tow Bar Extension Cord # C49HR which is a 7 to 4 cord you can use with the Falcon tow bars.
Both these tow bars when unlocked will push into their tubes and you will simply need to pull them together and raise the assembly into the locking ring on the bars. Then the bars will fold down to either the left or right side of your receiver and can be protected with the Cover # RM-055-3.
