Question:

How do you rate the following between furrion and advent no ducted 1. noise level for bedroom use ? 2. air flow for cooling bedroom. 3. does furrion have capability to add heating strip.

The Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat part # FR76PR has a 60 db indoor sound level which can be compared to the sound of a normal conversation. The Furrion is actually about 10 db quieter than the Advent part # ACM135BCH based on our testing.

However the Advent brings down the ambient temperature about 10 degrees lower compared to the Furrion. The Furrion does not have the option of a heat strip so I recommend the Advent Air RV Air Conditioner because it does come with the heat strip, does a better job at cooling and is our most popular brand. You will n to need additional parts to install the ACM135BCH.
