Do I Plug In Curt Echo or 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera First

I was advised to purchase the Furrion 7 Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR to be used with a Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 because the cameras dont work when using the Curt brake with my 2014 Audi Q7. Does the adapter get plugged into the 7 way socket first and then the power adapter? Or does the power adapter get plugged into the vehicle and then the Curt brake?

If you are using both the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera part # FR87PR and Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 together, I recommend plugging the brake controller into the trailer connector first and then the camera adapter. The reason for this is that the brake controller uses an inertia sensor to apply the brakes so you need this to be secure and not moving around like it would be when attached to the end of the camera adapter.
