Recommended Hitch for a 2022 Audi Q3 w/ the Hands Free Liftgate Sensor

Hello i would like to know if the draw-tite trailer hitch would fit my 2022 audi q3 with hands free tailgate sensor though i don’t mind or care if it blocks my sensor all i need to no is that would it still work or is this going to light up some lights on my dash any info is appreciated thanks

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch item # DT68MR does fit your 2022 Audi Q3 but it is not compatible with the lift gate sensor. I can't speak specifically for your lights but on most of these types of hitches you just have to find the right spot the 2" receiver does not block. Depending on where your sensor is located and how much of the receiver blocks it you can typically kick to the left or right and find a sweet spot where the sensor still works.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
