Are Air Lift Coil Springs of LoadLifter 5000 Better for a 2022 Ram 1500

Question:

Installed airlift 5000 bags on 2022 dodge ram big horn noticed a more bumpy ride on rear only running 5 pounds should I have gone with 1000 coilspring bags instead?

I try to steer people away from the Air Lift 1000 for Coil Springs, like part # AL60828HD for your 2022 Ram 1500, just because the springs can pinch the bags where the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57375 just require the 5 psi minimum to help keep the brackets from pinching the bag. Unless you were going over really rough terrain you shouldn't have been experiencing much difference in ride quality if the bags were only set to 5 psi.

The only thing I can think of is if you were really bottoming out the springs and what you were feeling were the roll pans making contact. If this is the case then I recommend keeping more air in the springs but if you'd like to run them at 5 psi then you want the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88375 instead because they come with internal jounce bumpers to keep the brackets and roll pans from making contact.
