Question:
Will the lock engage with a large hitch like the GenY GH-505 or similar? The span seems larger than normal and sometimes some of my locks wont work.

Expert Reply:
The shank receivers for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-505 measures just slightly over 3" wide at the hitch pin hole. I recommend using the Hollywood Racks Threaded Hitch Lock # HRLHPT with having a 3-1/2" span. This is the same size threads as the Malone Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock # MPG2174 but with the Malone only having a 2-3/4" span it will not fit with the cotter pin and lock.
