Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this replacement Gen-Y adjustable ball mount shank, with the 10 inch drop or rise for a 2 inch hitch. Has a 16,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now this part here will replace the shank from your Gen-Y adjustable ball mount with the stacked receivers. You can see right here it has a solid shank. This is what'll slide into your two inch hitch receiver that's on your vehicle.

In the very front here you can see it has the five stacked two inch receivers. That'll let you mount a ball mount, a bike rack or other hitch mount accessories to your vehicle. The adjustable height on this will let you tow trailers of different height with the same vehicle. So this will work well if you have a lifted truck. The ball mount, if you go to install a ball mount on this it can be lowered or raised to match your application.

And if you use it in the maximum drop position which would be this position here. If you install this in the hitch receiver and put your ball mount in the bottom receiver opening, it'll get you a maximum drop of 10 inches. If you did flip this 180 and put it in the maximum rise position, and then put your ball mount in the highest receiver opening, it'll get you a maximum rise of 10 inches. This is a heavy duty steel construction. It is ideal for towing extra large loads.

They do start with a zinc primer on it, and then it's coated with a durable silver vein epoxy powder coat, to resist corrosion. Now, when you do install this into your hitch receiver you can see they have two hitch pin holes right here. It does require a pitch pining clip or a hitch lock for securing the shank to your vehicle. Now, those are not included. We do sell those separate on our website.

The diameter of those ports are five eighths of an inch. This is SAE J684 certified. It is made in the USA. Specs again, it fits into a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. Gross towing weight capacity is 16,000 pounds, tongue weight capacity of 2000 pounds. Now this ball mount does have many different dimensions to it.
