Question:
I have a trailer light converter module Tekonsha 119179 / 119180 that is not working correctly so I am looking to get a new one, but I cant find it. Did this unit get updated to a new model# ? it is for my 2003 BMW X5 for a 4 wire trailer pigtail.

For your 2003 BMW X5 Tekonsha did change what harness they recommend for your vehicle. Currently they recommend the part # 119250KIT for a standard harness which uses sensors that wrap around your taillight wires instead of splicing for an easier install.
