How To Determine If Your 2017 Chevy Silverado Has A Towing Prep Package

Question:

Hi, I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado HD2500 How can I find out if it is prep ready or non prep ready to buy a 5th wheel reciver. Thank you,

If you look in the bed of your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 you'll see four "pucks" in the bed if it has the towing prep package. If you do then you'll need a hitch with Chevy's puck spacing like the # BWRVK3700 or the # BWRVK3770 if you have a short bed.

If you don't have them you can add them in by installing the Elite Series Under-Bed Gooseneck Complete Hitch # RP30158-68. The Elite uses Ford's puck spacing so you would need the # BWRVK3305 or # BWRVK3370.
