Fifth Wheel Hitch to Fit Fifth Wheel Rail Kit of 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 with OEM Rail Kit

Question:

What is the measured distance between puck bolts, both width and length. I am purchasing a used GMC 2500 long bed. It looks like the puck system is factory installed, but the salesman was not sure. I measured and the width of the puck receivers bed side to bed side is 27 on center. Length wise cab to tailgate was 22 on center. Hoping this matches up with the legs to in the bed. I have a Reese RE18 for my current truck but it was about two inches too wide for this one. Thanks

What you have in the bed of your 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 does look like the factory GM rail kit for fifth wheel hitches. We have had this question before and the puck dimensions are supposed to be 27 by 20 inches. Can you get under the bed and see if you can see any branding or numbers on the hitch from the underside of the truck?

Question:

Hey Jameson. Got the truck today. Attached is a pic of the markings on the under bed rail that can be made out. Also re measured the distance between pucks and still get 27 inches on center and 22 inches on center. From inside edge to inside edge I get 20.

Thanks for getting me those pictures and dimensions! I sent them to Curt and they said you have the factory fifth wheel rail kit in your truck. So the Curt hitch part # C16530-16025 you referenced would fit directly.

Best option that I would recommend is the B and W Companion hitch for GM Rail kit part # BWRVK3700 which is made in the USA, can be take apart in sections to make install/removal easier, and is widely considered the best hitch around in the RVing world.
