To determine if you will be able to switch from a 4.80-12 # TT48012C to a 5.30-12 # TT53012C you will need to check how much clearance you have with your current tires. The new tire is going to be 0.55" wider and 0.94" taller. To ensure you do not have any clearance issues you will want to ensure you have a minimum 1-5/16" clearance from the sidewalls to any parts of your trailer through the suspensions travel. And you will need 3-1/2" of clearance above the tire for the suspension to compress. In the event this is a tandem axle trailer you will need 3" between your current tires to maintain good clearance between the tires.
