Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the Dexter Axle Torflex #10 side angle mount or side mount for your axle. These are going to be frame-mounted hangers to support that axle on your trailer. So this flat side is going to mount to your trailer. You're going to have to weld that on there. And then the bolt holes will allow you to mount your axle to it. It gives you the hardware to do that mounting to the axle, so we'll get four bolts, washers, and four nuts.
We'll have our left and right side brackets. The orientation of these is going to kind of depend on your particular axle, but it's either going to go like this or like that, so which ever one matches up better.As far as the specs with this, it is going to give you that easy place to mount your axle to so it makes it easier to take it apart. Our hangers here are about 11 inches long in total. The distance between those mounting holes center-to-center is about 8 inches, and then between these two is about an inch and an eighth. They are a little offset from each other.
The opening here is about 4 inches, and the width of our brackets is about 2-3/4 inches.Our bolts are Grade 5 hex cap screws. These are going to be 5/8, 18 x 1-1/2 inch bolts, and then the matching hex nuts for those. This kit is made in the USA.That's about all there is to it for our look of the Dexter Axle hangers. Called customer service and they helped me get the right brackets the first time. Able to give me full dimensions of the part to make sure. Will he buying my stuff from here from now on.
