Expert Reply:
The Curt MV Weight Distribution System item # C17057 weighs 84 lbs.
The Blue Ox Sway Pro item # BXW1500 weighs 91 lbs.
If you are using 2-5/16" hitch balls I recommend the HitchGrip Carrying Tool for Weight Distribution Head Assembly with 2-5/16" Ball item # 303-HG-712. This will help you move that heavy hitch head when you are hooking up and unhooking it. This will only work with 2-5/16" hitch balls not 2".
I also recommend the Classic Accessories Tow Bar and Weight Distribution Tote item # CA80113. This heavy duty bag is perfect for storing your weight distributing hitch. It is 36" x 11" Wide x 8" Tall and has padding that prevents damage to your hitch and prevents dings to your vehicle's cargo area from shifting gear.
