Troubleshooting A Voyager WiSight 2.0 Camera System That Won't Pair
Updated 07/18/2022 | Published 07/15/2022 >
Question:
Ordered #ASA37YR for my Winnebago 2022 Winnebago Minnie 2201MB camper, towed by 2020 Ford F150, just last Wednesday. Very prompt delivery, received today Friday, July 15th. Been driven nuts all afternoon trying to get the camera to pair as described by the install instructions. I checked power to the camera - it passed a voltage test. The observation monitor functions as described in the instructions. Each attempt at pairing results in a failure to pairinch response. Only thing I can guess for that response is a problem with communication between the units. My question: is this product sensitive to communication between the camera and the monitor? My parking spot in my yard is parallel to a line of trees, and my F150 has an ARE bed topper installed. I tried different positions of the antenna without success. Camper is only 27 feet long, so the 60 feet communication specification should not be a factor, unless the trees are a factor. Thanks for your prompt response.

The steps for pairing your Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System # ASA37YR camera and monitor are as follows:
1. Make sure the monitor is connected to 12 Volt DC power supply, but 12 Volt DC power is removed from the camera (clearance lights turned off).
2. Press the SELECT/PAIR button on the front of the monitor expected mode & select the appropriate AV source.
3. Press and hold the "SELECT/PAIR" button on the front of the monitor for 5 seconds and release. (Monitor will display "PAIRING")
4. Apply 12 Volt DC power to the camera (turn on the clearance lights). If pairing multiple cameras to the system, make sure that only the only the corresponding camera(Camera 1 –Camera 4 corresponding to Monitor's CH1- CH4) has power when pairing.
If you connect the power to the camera before it lists in the steps you'll keep getting the failed pairing error. Including your F-150 you'd be looking at max 45' in distance so the length is not the issue in this case. If you retry these steps and still can not get it to pair then let me know and we can keep troubleshooting.
