Correct Voyager WiSight Camera for Installation on a 2022 Winnebago Prewired for Voyager Camera

Question:

I have a 2022 2529RG Winnebago travel trailer. It has a prep for the Voyager WiSight. My question is there is a cover plate over the 4 pin connection. Do I install with this cover on by drilling a hole in this cover plate for pin connection then install or remove completely then install? If I remove then I will 4 holes in the trailer thats not good?

We do have what you need, but since your 2022 Winnebago 2529RG is prewired for the Voyager system you will not want to use the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # ASA57YR that you were looking at. Because you will remove the plate completely and with that system it will leave some areas exposed.

Instead, you will want to use the Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision for Prewired RV # ASA37YR. This system has a different camera mount style that uses that prewired set-up. It has all of the same features as the camera you were looking at, it is just designed to work with the pre wired set-up.
