Question:
2014 Kia Soul manual transmission flat tow. To unlock the steering wheel the key must be in first position which turns on the dash radio etc. Does one disconnect the battery or does one turn off the switch at the fuse panel before towing so as not to run down the battery while in tow?

Neither of those things are needed, so what you will do instead is use a battery charge line kit from Roadmaster. This connects the battery to the 6-way or 7-way tow bar wiring plug on your tow vehicle, and gets power from your motorhome. So what you will need is the following:
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25
So long as your motorhome has a 6-way or 7-way you are set, otherwise you will need to install a charge line kit from your motorhome. It is very likely your motorhome already has a 6-way or 7-way but if not, you'd need the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75.
