I need a license plate light and bracket. Al. Of the products say non-submersible but my boat the bracket is under the fender and always ends up in the water. What happens when the lights are submerged?

The Optronics LED Trailer License Plate Light with Bracket - Submersible # LPL56CB is submersible and will work with your trailer. On The LED Trailer License Plate Light with Mounting Bracket # 328-003-70BE if the lights are submerged they will stop working because they are not sealed correctly.
The overall dimensions of the light is 8-1/2 inches long x 3 inches tall x 2-5/16 inches deep. The distance between the mounting holes (center to center) is 3-1/2 inches.
The bracket is made out of a ABS plastic bracket construction that resists corrosion. Installation hardware is not included.
