Question:
Does this kit contain the motorhome monitor that goes in the dash of the motorhome to show when the brakes are on? Does it come with everything that an original add a brake new in the box came with so you can hook it up? I am looking at a used add a brake that comes with nothing included. Will this kit have everything I need? Thanks.

The Roadmaster Second Vehicle Kit # RM-98800 that you mentioned is meant for use with the Roadmaster # RM-9700. This kit includes a second brake away kit, brake signal wire, diode, and wiring for installation.
For the monitor that is mounted in the mobile home that indicates if the brakes in your 2004 Jeep Wrangler are activated, you will want the Roadmaster Second Motorhome Monitor Kit # RM-98850. This kit includes both the light and audio indicators that signal that the brakes in your Jeep have been activated. A brake signal wire that is routed to the back of the RV is also included.
I have confirmed with my contacts at Roadmaster, and to have a fully functional braking system you will need the Roadmaster # RM-9700, and then you will have to install the second vehicle wiring harness # RM-98800 and a second Motorhome Monitor Kit # RM-98850.
With the second vehicle kit # RM-98800 you would install a brake away system on your Jeep, and will also have to install the included diode on the brake signal wire. Depending on the configuration of your current Jeep tow bar wiring, you may need to install additional diodes. If you currently have a bulb and socket kit installed on your Jeep, then you will need to install the included diode and no additional diodes. I have included a couple of diagrams showing this for your reference.
For the Roadmaster # RM-9700 to activate you will have to splice into the signal that is coming from the RV and activating the brake lights on your Jeep. This will need to be done before any diodes, if you currently have any installed. This will connect to the single green wire on the Roadmaster # RM-9700 that has a bullet connector installed on it.
The single black wire that has a bullet connector on one end will connect to the corresponding bullet connector on the other single black wire that is used to install the monitors in the Motorhome # RM-98850. One end of this wire will connect to the indicators in the RV and the other will connect to the cold side of the brake switch on your Jeep.
After installing both the Second RV and Second Vehicle kits and the functional Roadmaster # RM-9400 you will have a complete braking system for your 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
I have included links to the parts listed above, a couple of diagrams, the installation instructions, and a few helpful articles for your reference.
