Troubleshooting Why Fuses Keep Blowing On Tekonsha Wiring Harness

Question:
I have a 2017 Toyota Sienna SE that I installed the Tekonsha wire harness for the 4 way then a 7 way adapter with power to the battery to run the echo wireless brake controller. It was installed late summer 2020 and worked fine up until recently. Now the turn signal fuse keeps blowing with no trailer lights attached. I redid all the butt splice connections and confirmed they were solid. I checked the grounds for both the wire harness and the 4 way to 7 way adapter. What else should I be checking? Could the wire harness go bad, or something with the tail lights themselves. It seems to affect the left side more than the right before the fuse blows again. Thank you for your consideration.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118498 keeps blowing fuses because there is a short somewhere that you will need to locate. You need to do a thorough check for any crimped, broken or otherwise damaged wires and fix them making sure that there is no exposed section of wire at all.
To make the job easier you can use The Hook Probe Circuit Tester Kit # PTW2993 this will help you locate the electrical short.
I attached a few articles below that will help and also a review video link of the circuit tester below.
