Troubleshooting Tekonsha T-One Wiring Harness Blowing the In-Line Fuse

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118605 having the included fuse blow shows either a short in your wiring connections with additional power coming from something or a bad controller. Most of the time a fuse blowing each time will have to do with the power wire grounding to the vehicle frame somewhere. I recommend tracing that power wire to find an exposed wire or connection. I recommend disconnecting each connection and inspecting to ensure there isn't something that is bridging connections.

You can test the converter (black box) by cutting the power wire and running a jump wire from the converter module to your vehicle battery. If the converter works then you have isolated the issue and simply need to run another wire.
