When installing the Edge CTS3 like the # EP39YR on another compatible truck, you need to perform a factory reset. You can do that with the following:
1. Enter the Quick Link menu.
2. Press the Settings icon.
3. Scroll through the list and select "Factory Reset".
4. Press YES
It is important to note a couple things about this process. First off, in order for the CTS3 to work on a different truck, it needs to be a submodel of CTS3 that is compatible with that second truck. CTS3 tuners are not universal. Additionally, by doing a factory reset, you will lose all custom tunes or information stored on previous tunes from the device.
In order to confirm the compatability on your second truck, I can definitely help you out with that. Feel free to respond to this answer with your truck's year/make/model/engine as well as the model of CTS3 you have, and I will be happy to assist you further.
