Question:

I have the Thule aero bars and I am trying to find the adapter for the Thule ski rack. This rack had the adapters for my old Subaru factory bars which do not work on the aero bars. I also am trying to find the filler for the aero bars since I have chopped it up mounting my bike rack and rocket boxes over the years

First, we need to determine which Thule aero bars you have. The older bars were called Rapid Aero bars and were more symmetrical. The new bars are called AeroBlade bars and look more like a wing. I have included a 3/4 profile picture of the AeroBlade style for you.

Next I would need to know which Thule ski rack you have. You may be able to use Universal Mounting Kit, # 7533998. Depending on the age and model of the ski carrier you have, this kit may or may not work.

For a replacement top channel you can use replacement top channel for up to 59 inch AeroBlade bars, # 852-5402-005. For Rapid Aero bars we have strip # TH853354407 for 53 inch bars or # TH853354406 for 47 inch bars,
