Question:

I have an older style Thule ski rack. The clamps don’t fit on my 2015 Audi Q7 crossbars. Do you have an adapter? If so, how wide does it open? I have pictures if that would help. Thanks

I went ahead and sent the attached images you have of your older Thule Ski carrier to my tech at Thule. Unfortunately, from the pictures alone, he could not identify the specific rack. However, he did say that the Mounting Kit for Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski and Snowboard Racks # 7533998 works for most older Thule ski/snowboard carriers when trying to apply to factory or aftermarket crossbars. It is important to note that these mounting clamps will only fit crossbars up to 3-3/4 inches wide. I recommend measuring the width of your crossbars. If your factory crossbars on your 2015 Audi Q7 exceed that width, you will also need the longer bolts # THXADAPT7.
