etrailer delivered my order pretty fast. There was enough information in the product description to determine that the clamps would fit on my particular crossbars. The hardware was excellent and came with security bolts that require a special tool (included). I needed something to keep straps, and especially my hands, from sliding off the end of the Yakima CoreBars. Easy installation; great price.

I actually bought these so I could mount an awning on the stock crossbars on my Outback. They are the right shape for the flat crossbars, and I just replaced the bolts they came with with some 6mm hex bolts. It works perfectly—very solid, secure mount and I didn’t have to do any of the adaptations I’ve seen other Outback owners do. Super happy this worked!

This saved me from buying a new ski rack! I have square bars on the old Honda Pilot and the new Aero bars on the new Prius Prime. I got some longer bolts at the hardware store to accommodate the fat edge of the Aero bars.

Arrived on time. I just need to add a shorter bolt for my old Thule ski rack that I modified a little. I also will be looking for a socket for the security bolts. Will make it easier to put on and take off than using the allen wrench.

This part was exactly as explained and great quality arrived perfectly on time with the predicted arrival time and was installed easily. Since I did not have the original Fasteners to connect the mounts to the snowboard rack I just bought some 6-100 thread pattern lock nuts and used those to connect the mounts other then that everything was flawless. With these mounts they will also connect to the top of a Thule roof basket with no hassle at all.

It's not universal with Subaru factory cross bars. I had to drill a new hole to mount my old style Thule ski rack. Not an Etraile issue. Just, buyer beware

Mounting kit shipped and arrived as promised. I did not require the longer bolts in Thule XADAPT7 to mount the thule 725 ski rack on my Thule aerobars. Several other sites including Thule were not clear on this. Very satisfied with my purchase. Heading to CO for the month of March!!!!

This is the 25th anniversary of using 724 ski rack as a rod rack for our travel to the outer banks of North Carolina. The adapters and crossbars are the newest addition for the Jeep Cherokee. Everything fit like a dream!

Need old parts for your old Thule ski rack or old Thule bike rack?!!! Look no further than etrailer. I found everything I needed in order to throw away some old parts and hardware that was so sun damaged and time to get new. etrailer had every part and hardware items I was looking for. Hello, I attempted to install the rack mounting kit. I was disappointed to learn that the kit did not include 4 new knobs to secure the rack onto the mounts. The old original ones, the plastic is brittle and cracked and no longer holds the nut in place.

Significant reduction of design quality from the original design. The mounting screws are too short for a standard size roof rack. Had to change screws to fit the rack. Delivery was on time.

This kit is meant to work with most removeable and factory cross bars. They will fit with crossbars that are narrower then 3.75 inches wide.

Well... I can get it to fit on my wing bar. I had to use my own bolts to attach the mounting bracket to my Thule ski rack. The fit of the clamp onto my Thule wing bar is not exactly a perfect fit but it goes on. Once you have the ski rack put on your wing bar you probably will want to leave it on since taking it off will require unscrewing a bunch of bolts. Not some you would want to do when it is cold out. Not overly impressed with this Thule mounting kit.

The universal hardware upgrade kit utilizes the older style clamp system as it fits with the older generation of ski carriers from Thule. You may want to consider a newer ski carrier as they have a newer strap around clamp system that is easier to use. Such as part # TH7324B or # Y03095

I use the product primarily to keep my hand from sliding off the the rack bar when I pull myself up onto the door frame. They keep straps from sliding off the bars, too. Thye have been working well.
