Question:
Hello! I am looking for a hitch for my 2020 subaru outback 2.5. Im between the draw-tite DT74YR vs your e-trailer hitch. Any recommendations between the two? Thanks!

I would be happy to make a recommendation for your 2020 Subaru Outback Wagon. Both the etrailer item # e25TR and the Draw-Tite Hitch Receiver item # DT74YR have identical capacities and installation methods. I have linked installation and review videos below. The Draw-Tite receiver hangs down lower than the etrailer and is more expensive. Both of these reasons are why I would recommend the etrailer item # e25TR for your Outback.
If you need a wiring harness to control your trailer's lighting functions you will want the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118467. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
