Parts Needed For Towing a Tear Drop Trailer With a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

I have a 2022 Crosstrek Limited, will a Mypod tear trailer hook up to the Ecohitch with proper ball mount extension?

Yes, the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7365 is approved for trailer towing with your 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Limited. You will need the correct size ball mount and hitch ball for your Mypod trailer. When we installed this receiver on a 2019 Crosstrek the receiver height was measured at 15". The etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 will give you 2 different height ball mounts and 2 hitch balls(1-7/8" & 2").

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 will give you a 4-way flat trailer connector that controls the running lights and tail lights on the trailer. If your trailer has a 7-way for electric brakes or a charge line the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 will provide you with the wiring, connector and circuit breakers to power the 7-way. A Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR is needed with the kit if your trailer does have electric brakes.
