We do have a baseplate that will fit for your 2007 Mini Cooper S, however the Blue Ox item # BX1304 you mentioned will not fit. You will need the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit item # 521877-1 which is confirmed to fit your 2008 Mini Cooper S. I have linked an installation video below.
