Hey John,
If you have a 2008 Mini Cooper hardtop S-model or 2008 Mini Clubman hardtop then you'll need the Roadmaster # 521877-1. This will work with Aerodynamic Package, but not with Sport suspension.
If you have a 2008 Mini Cooper hardtop base model then you'll need the Roadmaster # 521878-1. This does not fit models with Aerodynamic Package or Sport suspension.
If you haven't picked out the rest of your flat towing setup then I have the following recommendations for you:
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e74ZR. This tow bar comes with safety cables included so you won't need to purchase them separately.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Since your Mini can't use a diode kit I recommend just going with magnetic lights like the Roadmaster Standard Magnetic Tow Lights # RM-2120.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Flat Tow Brake System # HM39524. This system comes with a remote to display when the brakes are being applied and will also allow you to adjust your brake settings from the cab of your motorhome. It includes a charge line kit as well to keep the Mini's battery charged. If the brake pedal clevis does not properly clamp to your brake pedal then you'll want to reach out to Brake Buddy (Hopkins MFG) and they'll send you a different one to fit.
