Question:

I have a 2008 Mini Cooper S hard top. will this work on this vehicle the grill is some what different than the car in your illustration shots want to make sure it will work. Thanks

For your 2008 Mini Cooper S hard top, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1303 is not the correct fit. It is only designed for 2002-2006 Mini Cooper hard top and 2007-2008 Mini Cooper convertible models.

Blue Ox does not have a compatible base plate for your S hard top but I do have a solution for you. The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 521877-1 will work with the aerodynamic package but not the sport package on your 2008 Mini Cooper S hard top.

If you have a Blue Ox Tow bar then you will use Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter # RM-032 for compatibility.
