The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # Y02443, will work with the trailer hitch on your 2021 Volkswagen ID 4. Provided your trailer hitch is a Class III trailer hitch. If you do not have a trailer hitch, we do have many options. My recommendation is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2", part # C57JR. This trailer hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 300 lb and a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,000 lb. It is the easiest to install of our trailer hitch options.
