Question:

Im looking for brake actuator for a trailer with 3.5 inch wide fold away tongue. 2 ball preferably. Disc brakes. Current actuator is TDE Model LP7000. Everything I look at for replacement are for 3 inch square tube tongue.

To replace your TDE Model LP7000 actuator, I recommend the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator w Electric Lockout item # DX89FR. This coupler is designed to mount on top of a standard 3" wide trailer tongue. It measures right at 3-3/8" wide so this will fit into your 3-1/2" tongue. I recommend using some washers to make up the slight gap you are going to have on either side.

This actuator is designed for disc brakes, it has a 7,500 lbs capacity, and fits a 2" ball.
