Replacement Inner Member Assembly for UFP A 60 Surge Brake Coupler

Question:

Is this part now the replacement for a UFP A60, part # 34043. It is for a 1999 Ranger Trail dual axle trailer, with a single set of disc brakes. The master cylinder and back up solenoid looks to have changed on this part shown. Can you verify if this is the new part for a UFP A60 #34043?

The proper replacement inner assembly member for your UFP 34043 would be indeed be the the Dexter # DX99FR which is compatible with disc brakes. The replacement has an electric lock out and has a 7500K capacity and is intended to work with a 2 inch trailer ball.

Dexter made some slight design changes when they purchased UFP. I've linked you to a product description video featuring the # DX99FR inner member assembly.

I’m in need of the inner member for a 2009 stratos trailer. Just wanted to make sure of the proper replacement be fore ordering. The trailer is a tandem axle with disc brakes. 2” ball 7,500lb.

@SteveV there is not a cross reference of parts based on trailer brand name and year. Please examine the brake actuator and let me know the brand and model. Is this for drum and disc brakes?
