Mounting Options For An Ultra-Fab Trailer Hitch Receiver On A 2019 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB

Question:

I purchased the above hitch, but cannot figure the best way to weld it to my RV, which is a 2019 Grand Design 2600RB. This trailer has a small box frame welded to the I-Beam frame. This box frame is what hooks the rear bumper to the frame and is what the stabilizer jacks are hooked to. There is no way to bypass this short box frame. Do you have any suggestions or pictures of how to mount this? Thank You.

You could weld the Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames # UF35-946403 to the box frame that's welded to the frame of your 2019 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB travel trailer but would need to have a fabricator come out and look at the quality of the weld to determine if it can bear the weight you'll be placing on it.

Other than that your only other option would be to remove the box frame and then mount it directly to the trailer frame.
