Best Trailer Hitch For 5th Wheel Trailer With 73 Inch Wide Box Frame

Question:

Is the C13703 the best fit for my 2018 Palomino Columbus fifth wheel. I want to carry 2 E Bikes at approximately 65 pounds each. The frame is a box style 3.5inch x 2. Inside measurement between frames is about 70.5inch and 72 inch on center.

Appreciate the photos, and we do have a hitch for you, but the Curt # 13703 is for a max 72 inch wide frame measured outside to outside of the frame, and it looks like yours is 73 inches. So what you will need instead is a weld-on hitch that is designed for wider frames:

- Ultra-Fab 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver for Trailer Frames # UF35-946403

The Ultra-Fab # UF35-946403 is for box, I-beam, or C-channel frames that measure between 47-1/8" to 77" so it'll fit the width of your 5th wheel's frame.

This will allow you to carry your pair of electric bikes with the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY64FR.
