Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For A 2009 Ford E-450 Bus

Question:

I am looking for a hitch for a 2009 Ford E450 bus to pull a camper with a weight distribution hitch total weight up to 10,000 lbs what can you recommend. There is no holes in the frame I know I will have to drill them out and that is not an issue. The outside to outside measurement on the frame is 42 inches thank you

To get an adjustable fit trailer hitch receiver capable of pulling 10,000lbs for your 2009 Ford E-450 bus you'll need the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-07. This hitch has adjustable brackets that go up to 44" to fit your 42" frame width, but they will require you to have them welded on.

This hitch is rated for a maximum gross trailer weight of16,000lbs but is not rated for use with weight distribution systems.
