Features to know about

Upgrading to Reliable LED Lighting: Bright, Efficient, and Low Maintenance

Old incandescent bulbs can burn out or dim over time. This LED trailer clearance or side marker light uses two red LEDs that are built to last about 50 times longer than a bulb with filaments. It’s more efficient too, producing a bright red light with lower power draw on a 12V DC system. With no fragile parts to replace, you get consistent lighting that just works every time you hook up your trailer.

Staying Visible Without Extra Parts: Built-In Reflex Reflector

No need to add a separate reflector when you’re wiring in this light. The reflex reflector is built right into the lens, keeping the setup clean and simple while still meeting visibility requirements. It does double duty as a red clearance or side marker light, giving you solid coverage and a polished look in one compact piece that measures 4" long x 1-1/2" tall x 1/2" deep.

Simple Mounting Where You Need It: Surface-Mount Design

This surface-mount oval installs flat against your trailer using standard mounting holes spaced 2-1/2" center to center. You’ll just need a 3/4" hole behind it for the wiring base. The 2-wire pigtail makes setup easy—one lead for power, one for ground—and it can be mounted horizontally or vertically depending on where you need light.

Keeping Moisture in Check: Smart Drain Design

Since it’s not a submersible light, the housing includes small drain holes that let moisture escape instead of collecting inside the lens. That keeps the LEDs protected from condensation and helps prevent corrosion over time. It’s a simple but smart design touch that keeps your lights working after rain, washing, or damp conditions.

Meeting Standards for Safety: P2-Rated and DOT/SAE Compliant

This light’s P2 rating gives you a focused 90-degree beam pattern—perfect for use as either a clearance or side marker light. It meets DOT and SAE standards so you know it’s road-legal and dependable. For an added finishing touch, you can add an optional chrome trim ring (sold separately) that snaps neatly over the lens for a clean look.

Awesome transaction, fast delivery and exact product fitment!

by:

The original light took on water right away. The replacement I got from etrailer is still dry and working well. Will order more as the original lights fail. Good stuff.

by:

I bought these lights to replace the marker lights on my 2007 Winnebago Adventurer as Winnebago told me the manufacturer of the original lights had gone out of business and the lamps and lenses were no longer available. They fit well and look like to originals and being LED they're brighter.

by:

Awesome service!

by:

Exactly fit the one I replaced. Smeared a lot of dielectric grease so corrosion problem won’t occur. Still working after a year.

by:

I needed to replace several marker lights on our motorhome, I could not find the exact lights because the company that made them is no longer in business. I found the e-trailer site. Called and ordered led lights that worked perfectly, only had to drill one new mounting hole. Great product and customer service, will definitely use e-trailer again

by:

Although this light looks the same, it is not. The hole pattern for mounting is different, and when I twisted the wires together, it did not light when turning on the lights. It is in still new condition and I will return it.

The distance between the mounting holes, center to center, is 2.5 inches.

I was able to order the exact light replacement for our 5th wheel. None of the area rv stores carried the light. the online system was easy to use and I received the lights in a timely manner.

by:

Great follow up!
Thank you!

by:

The light was a perfect replacement on our Thor Ace, for the side light I accidentally scraped off on a site sign post. Took about 10 minutes to replace, including the time it took to find the screw driver.

Still working just fine. matched the original perfectly.

by:

Reliable performance! Very pleased with this product. We don't have covered storage for our RV so it's exposed to a lot of direct sunlight. Our light consistently works as expected! We highly recommend this light.

Im pleased to report that after a year we have zero issues with the light. It continues to work perfectly :

by:

The light is identical to those oem on my mh. I bought this light as a spare so it has not been installed. I should connect it to 12v to ascertain it's status. The leads on the light are short at about 5 inches. Rating an item that has not been installed is not a good practice, but I received 3 emails from Etrailer requesting a rating.

by:

Perfect replacement.
Delivery took quite
some time.

by:

It is a treat to be able to get the exact lamp that my 2019 Jayco has for clearance and marker lamps. The 2-diode version is bright and nearly flush to the sides of the trailer (and won't catch branches and brush on those narrow trails). And affordable also, so I bought extra lamps for spares for later.

Glad to say that another year in the sun has not faded the lense color and brightness of these lamps.

by:

Exact replacement for Jayco running lig hts.

by:

Product was exactly as described. Service was excellent! Only problem was the email with shipping information and invoice. Have ordered twice from you in the last month. Both times, the email is not legible. Please fix this problem. One more thing, everyone that I have dealt with is way beyond excellent!

Hey Greg. Can you send me a screenshot of what you mean by the email was not legible? I'd be happy to look into this more for you.

The light is exactly what I need to replace the burned out lamp on my motor home. The staff at etrailer works diligently to provide products and customer service. Shipping is a slow since USPS is utilized for small products.

Light still good after a year. Much brighter than original light on other side of vehicle. Will eventually replace original light.

by:

I ordered one of the amber-lensed units from etrailer a couple of years ago. That one is still working fine and I expect this one will work equally well now and into the future. They're a little pricey for what they are but they're an exact replacement for the ones on my camper, unlike the less-expensive alternatives I've found that have different spacing on the attachment screws. I don't need any more holes in my RV than I've already got, thank you very much.

  • Replacement Clearance Lights Needed for GLO-BRITE 122R and 122Y Lights
From what I could find it looks like your 122R (red) and 122Y (amber) lights measure 3.75" x 1.70" x .81". We don't have any replacement lense directly for the GLO-BRITE lights but we do have some similar lights that you could use as replacements. I recommend checking out the Command LED lights # 328-K-51 for amber and # 328-K-52 for red. These measure 4" long x 1-1/2" tall and have mounting holes that are spaced 3" apart on center. • Troubleshooting Turn Signals Staying On Constantly With No Turn Function
Hello Aaron, thanks for reaching out. The functions you listed for your light are correct. There are a lot of lights that will ground thru the metal base or mounting hardware instead of having a ground wire. That said, as long as you are sure the red wire is connected to the turn signal circuit, the issue you are describing sounds like a bad ground. Check the metal blade and mounting hardware and make sure it is grounded to good clean metal free of any rust or paint. Make sure you are connected...

  • Solution for Replacement Side Marker Light for Glo Brite 9823R-88
Hi Cecil; is this light round or oval? I was able to find both when I searched for 9823R-88 so I can't be sure. I don't think we have a direct replacement, but if it is an oval light you could use one like the LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light with Reflex Reflector # 328-K-52. This light measures 4" long x 1-1/2" tall x 1/2" deep. Some appeared to have a chrome bezel like the # MCL17RB so that is another option measuring 4-3/16" long x 1-3/8" wide x 3/4" thick. If it was a round...

  • Option to Replace Glo-Brite Lights
Hey John, While we do not have any replacement lenses for the Glo-Brite 122R/122Y, we have some lights that can work as replacements. Those lights measure 3.75" long x 1.70"tall, so for something similar I recommend checking out parts # 328-K-51 for amber and # 328-K-52 for red. These are 4" long x 1-1/2" tall and have mounting holes 2-1/2" apart on center.

Hey Alex, thanks for reaching out. We may have a light that will work for you, and I am happy to look into it. You are right there are a ton of different options, and sadly there is no way to look up a camper to know which one you will need. Getting pictures will help a lot. There is no way to add pictures on here (yet) but if you want to email those to me, I am happy to take a look. My email is [email protected]. It sounds like you are just trying to replace an old oval clearance and if that's the case we have some great options. That said, the numbers on the lens of the light (SAE ###) are not part numbers and cannot be used to cross-reference. However, since you sent a photo I can pretty easily see that the LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light with Reflex Reflector part # 328-K-52 will be the correct replacement. • Recommendation for Replacing Glo-Brite 8511 Tail Lights on Lance Slide In Camper
I looked up pictures of your 8511 Glo-Brite incandescent lights, and found that they are 9-1/4 square tail lights. The closest light we have is going to be the Jeep-Style Trailer Combination Tail Light # ST60RB. It's has the same 4 functions as your Glo-Brite light (stop, tail, turn, backup), and an additional license plate light at the bottom, for a total of 5 functions. It features the same red and clear lens, so it's going to look very similar. The # ST60RB, however, is slightly smaller,...

  • Recommended Replacement Rear Side Marker Light for 2018 Thor ACE Motorhome
I do have an option for you though I don't have a way of knowing exactly what all lights are on this motorhome. That said, I looked up some photos online and think I found the type of light you're referring to. The LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light with Reflex Reflector part # 328-K-52 looks to be correct for your application and what I recommend using. It measures 3-3/4" long x 1-5/8" tall and has a red lens with oval shape.

  • Recommended Red and Amber LED Clearance Lights For 2017 Entergra Coach Aspire Motorhome
I would be happy to help! To add clearance lights to your 2017 Entegra Coach Aspire Motorhome I recommend the Red # 328-K-52 and Amber # 328-K-51. These are two diode LED lights like you were wanting, and install by surface mounting to your motor. Based on the pictures I was able to find of your motorhome it looks like it has some oval lights, so these will blend in and not look out of place. • Weatherproof Sealant Recommendation for Clearance Light Installation on RV
To add a seal around the mounting hardware on your marker lights, like the LED Red # 328-K-52 and Amber # 328-K-51 lights, I recommend checking out the TremPro 644 Silicone Sealant # 0160297 which is designed for use on a wide variety of surfaces so you can use it for the lights, walls, roof, or really anything else on your RV or around the house. If you don't already have a caulk gun you can pick one up from us with part # PTW54295. Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

I have a replacement light option for you, but we do not offer a replacement lens for the Glo-Brite 122 at this time. • How to Install Turn Signals/Marker Lights on Side of 5th Wheel
We do have an option that would work for you, but it will take a bit of finagling to make it work for you. The turn signals on a trailer are combined on the same circuit as the brake lamps, so you'll need to use a vehicle to vehicle taillight converter like # 118158 to separate out the brake lamp signals so your side mounted directional/marker lamp doesn't illuminate with the brake pedal. For lamps, I'd recommend the # ST75AB. Because the converter isn't compatible with LED lamps, you'll...

  • What Is The Difference Between Lights With 1 And 2 Diodes?
Hello Dave. The 1 or 2 diodes simply refers to the number of light emitting diodes (LEDs) housed inside each light. More diodes does not necessarily mean a brighter light, it just has to do with the construction of the light. You can definitely get by with 1 diode. If you are replacing old lights you will just want to verify that the new lights are identical in size to the old ones. • Why Does The LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # 328-K-52 Have a Drain Hole?
The LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # 328-K-52 has the openings as it is not designed to be a submersible light. While is is possible for water and moisture to get inside the lens the openings also allow for the moisture to get out. The hole is on the bottom as water is going to typically run down and not up into the lens unless it is completely submersed in water. We do have submersible lights like the Optronics # MCL13R2B which is fully sealed off. This will not offer a replacement...

  • What is the Purpose of the Holes In The Lens and Should They Be Sealed To Avoid Water Intrusion?
The LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # 328-K-52 has 2 holes which allow water or moisture which can build up inside the lens to escape and not fill the light. The light can be placed horizontally or vertically which is why you see the 2 sets of drain holes in the lens. The lens will also specify which side/end should be placed on top. You do not want to seal these holes as then if moisture does build up inside the lens it would not be able to escape.
