Question:

I have a 2019 ram 2500 crew cab 4x 4 heavy duty truck we are going from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel the cargo capacity of the truck is 3033 lbs. the pin weight of the fifth wheel 1480 lbs I was looking at the timbrem 2500 jounce blocks would this be a good option thank you

For your 2019 Ram 2500 I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SSR-312-54 over the Timbren # TDR2500D. The reason is the difference in the impact on your unloaded ride quality.

The SumoSprings have a weight capacity of 2,800 lbs which is more than enough based on your pin weight. Compare these to the Timbren with a capacity of 8,600 lbs. The Timbren is going to be a lot stiffer and I don't think you'll be happy with them installed when you aren't towing. The SumoSprings will provide you with the same benefits without the impact on your ride.

Even if you are towing all the time, the # SSR-312-54 will be more than enough to help support with your 1,480 lb pin weight. Just like the Timbren these are maintenance-free so you once you install them you're done. They use progressive load control and have a high-density microcellular urethane construction. The SumoSprings come with a limited lifetime warranty and are made in the USA.
