Will I be able to take these mirrors off when not pulling my trailer, or once they are on they are on for good?

You will absolutely be able to remove the # CM11400 after you're done towing, they're meant to be removed.
The video I've linked for you shows how they're installed.
These mirrors are a fit for the 2020 Ram 1500 classic. If you have the 2020 Ram 1500, you'll want to use the # CIP98MR instead.
